More than 700 professionals (architects, town planners, scientists, building actors, home/building automation specialists) attended the event organized by CARI, national actor in construction industry, the 6th and 7th of December 2007 in AGORA Einstein, Business and Seminar Centre in Sophia Antipolis – France.

 

A full panel of outstanding national and international experts, personalities from the scientific, political, ecological and environmental world took part in this major event and debated on major disciplines aiming at designing ever more intelligent constructions and cities. From telecommunications and electronics, architecture & urban design, HiFi & audiovisual, biometry, RFID, networks & protocols, ZigBee, Bluetooth and more, to societal and demographic, conferences covered all issues dealing with Immotics (smart building), Domotics (smart homes), Urbatics (smart cities) and Robotics.

 

Architect David Fisher was invited as a Special Guest to the Meeting to make a presentation of his Rotating Tower as an extraordinary example of Smart Living for tomorrow’s homes, buildings where home automation and building automation have as objectives energy saving, cost reduction and comfort improvement. Domotics and smart solutions characterize all the facilities of the Rotating Towers and it’s  construction schemes integrate environmental and energy issues, thanks to smart and optimized building management.

David Fisher, with the Dynamic Architecture, was the keynote and revolutionary presence of the congress, heralding a new era of architecture. Future architecture can be smart, sustainable and moreover dynamic. Moreover Dynamic Architecture is a vision where Technology is put to the service of urban, smart and sustainable management and lead to smart and sustainable urban planning and development.
