Modern Means of Investment in Real Estate

The Conference was held by the Greek business community among them the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Petros Doukas, the Cypriot real estate tycoon Mr. Michalakis Leptos Mr. Alexander Lykourezos the leading real estate expert and the Chairman of  Lykourezos Law Offices that organized with great success the International Conference on “Modern Means of Investment in Real Estate”.
Held at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in the centre of Athens, the conference hosted about three hundred prominent participants from Greece and abroad.
Current issues on Real Estate investment opportunities were presented, such as the regulatory framework and the philosophy behind Real Estate Investment Trusts and Property Derivatives, the management and development opportunities of the public property through the launch of new leasing methods – namely the sale and lease back mechanism.  On the other hand, the investment environment in the sectors of tourism, commercial centers and logistic networks were also covered through a detailed presentation of the existing regulatory framework and its pros and cons.  Last but not least, significant market players presented their large scale investment strategies.
Dr Fisher presented the Rotating Tower as a new approach to real estate due to the fact  the new industrialized method of construction the different way that such buildings will conceive the marketing of residential units may revolution the entire sector.
