7th International Forum of Architecture and Construction

Sao Paulo - BRASIL – March 24th-27th 2009

The 7th International Forum of Architecture and Construction, held in Transamérica ExpoCenter in Sao Paulo, was a four days where each day was dedicated to a specific field of Architecture and Construction: The Interior Designers Day, The Construction Material Retail’s Market Professionals Day, The Constructors’ Day and The Architects’ Day.
Distinguished lectures contributed to attract the presence of hundreds of architects, designers, decorators, and building executives from Brazil and abroad to the Forum, as well as students and young architects.  The Forum has become one of the most important Latin American catalysts of ideas and a vector for new trends and concepts.
The Forum was supported by AsBEA – Brazilian Architecture Offices Association, IAB-SP– Brazilian Architects Institute – São Paulo, and Editora Abril, one of the most important communication vehicles specialized in architecture in Brazil.

The Rotating Tower created a huge wave of interest in Brazil and all over South America, cultures that are very sensitive to contemporary design and technological innovations.
David Fisher gave a keynote lecture, in front of a large audience of over 1,200 people, on the leading role of the Rotating Tower project in bringing the future of Architecture. The International Forum of Architecture and Construction addresses, once a year, the issues of fundamental significance to the sector. The Forum is considered to be among the most important Latin American architecture and construction events being a catalysts of ideas and a vector for new trends and concepts.
